But please, I want you to know that there is another way, one that lets your feet move how they are supposed to move instead of being locked in a stiff anti-pronation “cast” that disconnects the ground from your feet, and your feet from the rest of your body.
"Well doc, How the hell do it do this?"
Its complicated, everybody needs something different but the way your abdominal, hip and thigh muscles work will make a difference in how your foot interacts with the ground. There is a lot of talk about foot training and how the foot dictates the rest of the body. I don't buy it. Don’t get me wrong if you have feet they should be strong, but a “smart” core will positively affect your feet more than strong feet will affect the rest of your body. In fact I have seen double amputees go through “smart” core training and relearn how to sprint with prosthetic legs that weren’t made for sports.
